When Marlee turned the Big Two-Five, she asked for a photo session with the ones she loved.
Because Marlee works at her mom's consignment shop, The Daisy, she knew just how to style her people so that they looked comfortable, classic, and cohesive. Kliks follows her same guidelines.
Patterns vs Solids: Busy patterns and graphics can be distracting and make you appear short and heavy. On the other hand, solids are complimentary to your face and elongate your body.
Color: Black and hot colors may reflect up into your complexion causing your skin to look tired or discolored. Neutrals, earth tones, and pastels tend to put the focus on your smile in a flattering way. When being photographed as a group, instead of everyone wearing the same color, go for similar tones and textures.
Hair and Makeup: Consider whether you want a formal or natural look to your photos and then style your hair and make up accordingly. Marlee and her mom's went for soft waves, natural skin, and a pop of lip color. The guys...brushed their teeth and combed their hair.
Happy Birthday, Marlee!
