When photographing seniors, it's always been my premise that they never look back at their photos and think that they have to defend them by saying, "That was the style then." Case in point, I took this senior's photo nearly 15 years ago.

What Makes a Photo Timeless

Wardrobe: Clothing in classic tailored cuts and earth toned colors hold their style for decades.

Lighting: I apply natural light as well as theatrical studio light for more dramatic and artistic appeal. 

Backdrops: Kliks backgrounds and furniture props are basic and everlasting. Rather than compete with my seniors, I want them to literally remain in the "back"ground.
