Dear Friends, 

I have been granted a work visa to be a portrait photographer in France. I closed my studio, will put my house on the market, and let go of my possessions. This isn't something I imagined for myself until one day -- I did. I leave soon. 

I plan to photograph expats and travelers. If you're going to France, let's connect.

I have one year to prove to the French government that I can make a go of it. If so, they may renew my visa which means...I'm going to need all of you to start making travel arrangements. 

My House Is For Sale

Twenty-four years ago, I bought my house from the original owner. It is located in a quiet neighborhood on the southeast side near Cottage Grove Avenue. 

It's an open-air 2,092 square-foot ranch with a three-car garage, three bedrooms, and one and 1.75 baths. In addition, the house has original mid-century kitchen cabinetry, main floor laundry, and a four-season vaulted sunroom that overlooks a resort-styled outdoor space with two decks, established landscaping, and a forest view.

What I have loved most about the space is its tranquility, flexibility, and dependability: the liquid flow of morning light, the view of the moon.
